• A new fluorenone peak is detected at 1711 cm -1 that directly linked with the progress of thermal degradation in PEEK and CF-PEEK. Its intensity can be used to detect characterise extent rapid high-temperature processing It consists a useful tool for defining PEEK's CF-PEEK's optimum process window processing. 1% materials’ content found tolerable does not significantly affect degree crystallinity. Faster heating rates lesser crystallinity content.
